Our written recipe brochures
Until yet the precious knowledge about these good-tasting and healthy ayurvedic recipes and spices was passed on only verbally in the family circle of our association founder. Now these informations are also at your disposal! You have thereby not only a light entrance into the ayurvedic spices, but also may gain the conviction of very tasty vegetarian recipes which are simply prepared. We still haven’t found such a list, about the most important spices and their characteristics, on the market. This is the main reason, to bring typical and correct Ayurveda in simplest way more closely to interested humans in west-Europe. The original-faithful Ayurveda is exclusively vegetarian! There are many books concerning Ayurveda unfortunately adapted “to the west”…
Above all the correct cook procedure, the use of the spices is particularly important. Already a spice or a herb (e.g. mint) can decide on the health effect of a meal. If you implement e.g. the cook procedure wrongly, and roast curcuma insufficiently, the whole meal tastes bitter. Or if you use too much mint in the winter, you could catch a cold. In the summer however, the refreshing characteristic of the mint does miracles! Or did you knew for example that for the refreshing effect of 1 kg of coriander only 1/2 nutmeg is needed, in order to ensure balance again?
Our recipes not only consider the cooling thermal effect of the spices, but also particularly the importance of the Yin Yang principle. The quantity specifications and the cook procedure are in such a way selected and represent the fact that the harmony in bodies, spirit and soul is repaired and/or persists. (We would like to point out that these cook brochures do not replace and/or excludes a medical advice).
The “ginger garlic soup” is very good e.g. not only as a tasty ayurvedic meal, but also against colds! With these brochures you have a outstanding start for ayurvedic Indian cooking. The delicious and easy to after-cook recipes offer the optimal entrance (or transfer) into one of the oldest and healthiest ways of nourishing!
